Flypmedia.com seems to be the begining of the end for print journalism because it offers the same thing except more. It covers almost all the material covered in magazines, from politics, art, technology and movies. It is also a collection of blogs that cover many different issues. Somewhat of an letters to an editor sort of thing! Flymedia describes itself as "the first fully integrated publication online." It also refers to itself as the future.
The only problem with Flymedia is that it hasn't reached the masses yet. Once more and more people become aware of this, print publications may be in trouble. As each one of us blogs about flymedia, that is more people that we are making aware of this phenomenon.
There is one blog that is dedicated to going green. Another blog is dedicated to different issues such as gay marriage, politicans, drug wars, lasting impression of natural disasters. Flypmedia even has a podcast which would never be possible with print publication. The only downside may be the nostalgia of having something physical in your hands.
